Job Description

Job Overview The Quality Auditor is responsible for evaluating manufacturing processes, products, and quality systems to ensure compliance with customer requirements, company standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. This role supports continuous improvement initiatives by conducting audits, identifying nonconformities, verifying corrective actions, and promoting a culture of quality throughout the organization. Responsibilities Conduct process, product, layered process, and system audits in accordance with established audit schedules. Verify compliance with
IATF 16949, ISO
9001, customer-specific requirements, and company procedures. Identify quality issues, nonconformities, and process deviations and document audit findings. Participate in root cause analysis and support corrective and preventive action activities. Verify the effectiveness of implemented corrective actions. Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and control plans. Review quality records, inspection data, and manufacturing documentation for accuracy and compliance. Support internal, customer, and third-party audits. Assist in investigating customer complaints and internal quality concerns. Generate audit reports and communicate findings to management and operational teams. Promote continuous improvement initiatives and quality awareness throughout the organization. Maintain audit records and documentation in accordance with company retention requirements. Train and support employees on quality system requirements and auditing practices as needed QualificationsEducation Associate's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred. High School Diploma or GED required. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, or quality auditing preferred. Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment preferred. Knowledge of IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements is highly desirable. Knowledge and Skills Understanding of quality systems, auditing techniques, and manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of:
IATF 16949 ISO 9001
Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plans) Root Cause Analysis (5 Why, Fishbone, 8D) Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and control plans. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
