EZ Tech PDR & Collision is a leading provider of Paintless Dent Repair (PDR), Auto Hail Repair, collision repair, painting, and custom vehicle restoration. Our expert technicians and customer service team work together to provide seamless and efficient repair solutions. Compensation Base salary of $70,000-$80,000, plus commission. Total compensation potential of $95,000-$100,000 annually, based on experience and performance. We are looking for a Claim Estimator to join our growing team. This position involves assessing vehicle damage, creating precise repair estimates, and coordinating with insurance companies and customers to ensure a smooth claims process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, well-organized, and excels in customer service and communication.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers, inspect vehicle damage, and document findings with photos and detailed notes Build accurate repair estimates using industry-standard software CCC ONE, including OEM procedures, parts, labor, and required calibrations Submit estimates to insurance adjusters, negotiate line items and pricing, and track claims through to approval Identify and document supplemental damage found during teardown, and manage the supplement approval process Order and verify parts, and coordinate scheduling with the production team to keep repairs on track Perform final quality control inspections before vehicle delivery Keep customers informed with proactive updates throughout the repair, and walk them through completed work at pickup Collect deductible and preliminary payments, confirming details with insurance when needed before releasing the vehicle Maintain complete, compliant repair order files, including signed repair authorizations and loaner agreements

Qualifications:

Previous experience in claim estimating, auto body repair, or a related field is required. Familiarity with estimating software (CCC ONE, Mitchell, or Audatex) is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. Keen attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple estimates efficiently.
