In this vital role, you will assess vehicle damage, prepare accurate repair estimates, and communicate effectively with customers and insurance adjusters. Your expertise will help streamline the repair process, ensure customer satisfaction, and maximize shop profitability. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about automotive diagnostics, collision repair, and delivering exceptional service. Pay is based on experience. Bonuses are offered, depending on performance. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine scope of repairs, including collision repair, mechanical repairs, and component replacements Utilize computer-aided vehicle damage estimating software to prepare detailed repair estimates that include parts, labor, and materials Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair procedures, costs, and timelines to ensure transparency and build trust Collaborate with technicians and office personnel to prioritize repairs and coordinate workflow efficiently Review insurance claims and negotiate estimates with insurance adjusters to facilitate smooth claims processing. Maintain accurate documentation of all estimates, customer interactions, and repair orders in compliance with company policies Requirements Proven experience as a collision estimator or in an automotive service management role with dealership or collision center background Experience using CCC One. Strong mechanical knowledge including automotive diagnostics, collision procedures, suspension systems, alignment, insurance guidelines and ADAS systems. Proficiency with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Dealership experience or auto service management background preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for client visits or vehicle inspections Knowledge of auto estimating procedures related to collision repair processes Join our team to be part of a vibrant environment where your automotive expertise makes a real difference!
