We are looking for an empowering leader and proactive problem-solver to join our team as the Branch Support Manager in our Bennett, CO location. Your Mission Lead and grow a high-performing Customer Support Team, cultivating a culture of great service. Develop relationships with customers, building trust and empowering them with the digital tools and knowledge they need to manage their money with confidence. Ultimately, you are the person who keeps the wheels turning, allowing our Market President to be out in the community knowing the daily operations and team are in capable hands. You understand that a close-knit team that bonds through humor and supports one another is the key to a thriving branch. The Day to Day On any given day, you'll be the "go-to" for branch operations, handling everything from building security and vendor maintenance to keeping an eye on high-level transactions. You'll spend plenty of time on the floor, offering hands-on support and coaching your CSRs on how to identify customer needs and protect against fraud. You'll ensure the teller line runs smoothly and that your team is anticipating each other's needs. Beyond the branch walls, you'll team up with the Market President to represent High Plains Bank at local events and build strong ties with Bennett's businesses and leaders. Your day is a mix of strategic coaching, managing risks, and building genuine relationships. What you bring to High Plains Bank Qualifications and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of banking experience Background in customer service leadership Essential Skills and Knowledge Proficiency in technology, encompassing both core and online banking systems Ability to motivate people, encourage teamwork, and lead by example Excellent communication skills with both customers and staff Ability to problem solve with empathy while keeping a close eye on the rules and risks Desirable Skills and Knowledge Great judgment and knowledge of when to escalate financial security concerns Comfort managing vendor contracts and working on facility projects Google Workspace Responsibilities of the position Key Accountabilities Lead, coach, and drive performance for the CSR team through regular training and feedback. Keep the branch running smoothly every day to ensure a seamless experience for every customer. Turn the branch into a "resource hub" where customers come for financial mentorship and digital help. Keep the bank and our customers safe through smart transaction monitoring, risk assessments, and fraud education. Partner with the Market President to represent the bank in the community and help grow our local presence. Other Responsibilities Keep the building in excellent condition, managing vendors and acting as the Security Administrator. Be the branch expert for HPBGO, solving tech hurdles and showing off its benefits to both customers and staff. Make the branch a welcoming place where customers feel comfortable asking for help.
