Job Description

The Assistant Branch Manager supports the Branch Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch and ensuring a safe, efficient, professional, and customer-focused operation. This position assists with employee supervision, yard and facility operations, customer service, equipment intake and release, auction preparation, safety compliance, and overall branch performance. Additionally, this role will also support outside sales activities. The Assistant Branch Manager should have 3-5 years experience in management and preferably experience with auctions or equipment operations. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Assist the Branch Manager with the daily operation and overall performance of the branch. Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and support to branch employees. Help oversee yard operations, including equipment receiving, check-in, staging, movement, inspection coordination, and release. Assist with preparation and execution of auctions, sales events, and other branch activities. Monitor customer activity and help ensure customers, consignors, buyers, vendors, and drivers receive professional and timely service. Address customer concerns and operational issues and escalate significant matters to the Branch Manager when appropriate. Help enforce company policies, operating procedures, attendance expectations, and workplace standards. Assist with incident and accident investigations and ensure appropriate documentation is completed. Help control branch expenses and identify opportunities to improve productivity and operational efficiency.

$55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
