The Role We're looking for an Accounts Receivable & Reporting Specialist to join our team in Compton, California. This is a hands-on role combining accounts receivable, credit and collections, customer account support, and financial reporting. You'll work closely with our customers and internal teams in both the US and New Zealand to keep accounts accurate, resolve issues, and ensure information is up to date. You'll also have the opportunity to identify better ways of working and contribute to improving our finance processes as the business continues to grow.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, either: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. with a 1-hour unpaid meal period; or 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. with a 30-minute unpaid meal period.
Salary range:
$55,000-$65,000 per year What You'll Be Doing In this role, you will: Apply customer payments accurately and on time, and resolve unapplied cash and short payments. Manage accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due accounts to help keep DSO on target. Manage credit holds, pricing disputes, and deductions in coordination with Sales and Customer Service. Create and maintain accurate customer records, including resale and sales tax exemption certificates. Review and process credit applications for new customer accounts. Review and process Return Goods Authorization (RGA) credit requests. Respond professionally to dealer calls and emails relating to purchase orders, invoices, account queries, and RGAs. Partner with our US and New Zealand finance teams across time zones to keep customer accounts accurate and up to date. Document customer account activity accurately within our ERP system. Prepare recurring and ad hoc accounts receivable, sales, and financial reports for management. Assist with reconciliations, reporting, and other finance activities as required. Identify opportunities to improve processes, accuracy, and efficiency. Support additional projects and duties as required. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is accurate, organized, comfortable dealing with customers, and confident working with financial information. Ideally, you'll bring:
Experience:
1+ years of accounts receivable, accounting, credit/collections, or related finance experience preferred.
Education:
An associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Systems experience:
Experience working with ERP and CRM systems.
Excel skills:
Strong Excel skills, including XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and working with large data sets.
Attention to detail:
A high level of accuracy when processing transactions, maintaining customer records, and preparing reports.
Organization:
Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Communication:
A professional and confident customer-facing manner by phone and email, with the ability to explain account issues clearly to dealers and internal stakeholders.
Problem solving:
The ability to investigate discrepancies, resolve account issues, and follow matters through to completion.
Process improvement:
An eye for improving processes, accuracy, and efficiency, with a willingness to suggest and implement better ways of working.
