Job Description
Are you good with numbers and enjoy working with others? This is the place for you! We have an immediate opening in our accounting dept. for an AP/AR clerk. This position performs a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Record accounts payable and receivable data into our accounting software program. Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements. Prepare and submit payments to vendors via check, online transfers, and electronic payment methods. Reconcile accounts in a timely manner. Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies. Manage accounts receivable accounts and perform collections on past due accounts. Skills Accuracy and attention to detail Experience with accounting/bookkeeping software such as Sage, Quickbooks, etc. Aptitude for numbers Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks Data entry and word processing skills
