Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Bookkeeper to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for working with clients to assist them in maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with payroll preparation processes. Your expertise will help support the organization's bookkeeping processes, and contribute to timely financial reporting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your accounting skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to making a positive impact. Responsibilities Record and reconcile all financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Accounting CS, or similar systems. Conduct bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and payroll standards Assist with month-end closing activities, including account analysis and financial report writing Skills Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with strong knowledge of double entry bookkeeping principles Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online), Accounting CS or comparable systems Familiarity with financial concepts like debits & credits, journal entries, account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting Ability to work efficiently with spreadsheets and financial reports while maintaining high accuracy levels Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; capable of managing multiple tasks such as bank reconciliation and account analysis simultaneously Excellent communication skills for preparing clear financial reports and collaborating across teams This role is ideal for candidates with solid accounting experience who are eager to contribute to an organization committed to excellence.
