The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, maintain financial accuracy, and support our accounting standards. This role requires proficiency with spreadsheets, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and a solid background in accounting and finance. Previous hospitality work and management experience are considered valuable assets for this position. The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization through precise record-keeping and adherence to accounting standards. Responsibilities Manage and maintain accurate financial records using spreadsheets and accounting software Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently Handle payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments Reconcile bank statements and financial reports regularly Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and records Collaborate with management to improve financial processes and controls Maintain organized documentation of all financial transactions Skills Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role Strong proficiency with spreadsheets, accounting software, and financial tools Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing Familiarity with accounting standards and best practices in finance Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently Previous hospitality work and management experience are advantageous Strong communication skills and a professional attitude This position offers an engaging opportunity for candidates with a solid background in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance to contribute to the financial success of our organization.
