Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Medical Accounts Receivable Representative to join our dynamic healthcare finance team. Responsibilities Follow up on unpaid or partially paid claims by contacting insurance companies, patients, or other payers to secure timely payments Ensure accurate medical coding by applying appropriate ICD (International Classification of Diseases) codes, CPT codes, and DRG classifications in compliance with current regulations Resolve complex accounts receivable issues through detailed research of medical records, billing documentation, and insurance policies Maintain thorough documentation of collection efforts, correspondence, and adjustments for audit purposes Stay current with industry standards related to medical billing, coding updates, insurance policies, and regulatory changes affecting the revenue cycle Experience Proven experience in medical billing and collections within a healthcare setting Strong knowledge of medical coding including, ICD-10, CPT coding systems, and DRG classifications Excellent understanding of medical terminology and medical records management Prior experience handling complex accounts receivable tasks in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with insurance claim processing procedures and denial management Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong communication skills to effectively resolve billing issues Join us as an Experienced Medical Accounts Receivable Representative where your expertise will help streamline revenue cycles while supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services.
