Accounts Payable Specialist Location: Central PA Schedule: Full-Time | Hybrid Available After Training About the Opportunity Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing accounting team. Hybrid schedule available after training, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Stable company offering long-term growth potential. Responsibilities Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation.
Maintain vendor records and assist with vendor communication.
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
Reconcile vendor statements and assist with month-end close activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
Collaborate with internal departments to secure approvals and resolve questions. Qualifications Some experience in accounts payable or a closely related accounting support role.
Ability to understand and apply debit and credit principles in daily transaction review.
Understanding of expense and revenue coding.
Microsoft Excel experience, including working with spreadsheets and PivotTables.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to manage a high volume of transactions.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work across departments.
Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn, develop new skills, and grow within the accounting department.
