Role Responsibilities:
Enter invoices and bills into QuickBooks accurately. Follow up on overdue invoices and collect payments. Record and process payments in QuickBooks and address payment discrepancies. Maintain organized records through copying and filing and updating customer information and records. Support ACH transaction processing Reconcile QuickBooks data with source documents. Generate invoices for various services. Research, track, and resolve accounting discrepancies, or escalate issues as needed. Handle phone calls and manage customer inquiries related to accounts receivable and payable. Communicate effectively with company personnel and management and assist with additional tasks in Accounting and Human Resources. Assist Accounting Department with other financial tasks Support year-end record filing and retention.
Required Skills:
High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred. Minimum of one year of accounting experience. Basic understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting principles. Sales tax knowledge preferred. High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred. Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Highly motivated with a desire to excel in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with technology and software including QuickBooks, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong commitment to customer service.
