Financial Services | Associate Financial Representative | West Los Angeles
DESCRIPTION

Associate will support the Financial Advisor and specializes in client service and processing of insurance products. The Associate maintains an efficient, organized, and compliant office and serves as liaison between the home office, financial advisor, and clients. The ideal candidate will have superb organization, exceptional attention to detail, and high ownership of responsibilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Insurance Support Assist Advisor by managing and overseeing the flow of business throughout the sale cycle Review insurance applications, conversions, and policy changes for completeness and accuracy Manage the medical examination process and expedite outstanding underwriting requirements Monitor Daily Status Report; expedite any additional underwriting requirements Prepare/print letters of instruction for client signature; prepare policies for delivery Run insurance illustrations and in-force ledgers Enter and maintain client and policy data in CRM; documenting case notes, and proactively follow upon pipeline of pending new business Carry out meeting preparation tasks Communicate with home office and internal departments to supply or obtain information Ensure compliance requirements are implemented and followed Maintain daily tracking system for account follow-ups and service requirements Client Service and Administrative Duties Contact clients and process service requests: late payments, address changes, bank change information, loan requests and ISA service inquiries Perform clerical/administrative activities i.e. filing documentation to case files, photocopying documents, reports, and tracking Calendar management, confirming and scheduling client meetings Additional projects, as requested by
Financial Advisor Qualificaitons:
Bachelor's degree preferred Sharp intellect, strong work ethic, desire for growth, and commitment to excellence Passion for helping people and providing top client service Superior time management, attention to detail, and organization skills High level of personal responsibility, resiliency, and resourcefulness Appreciation for optimizing workflow via adoption of new technology and/or SOP's Interest in continual learning and professional development Ability to be a team player and work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion Ability to proactively identify what needs to be accomplished and take action as appropriate Ability to focus on the urgent tasks of the day without losing sight of the key goals and results of the firm
Requirements:
Life, Accident, and Health Insurance licensed or obtain licensing within 3 months of employment Experience working in customer service, preferably in the financial services and/or insurance industry Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft applications, and data entry and information retrieval software Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and fingerprinting.
