Duties Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to maximize profitability and growth. Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including financial statement analysis, interpretation of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and ASC 606 standards. Manage budgeting processes, financial forecasting models, and revenue cycle management to ensure accurate financial projections and resource allocation. Lead risk analysis initiatives, including SOX compliance (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), risk management frameworks, and regulatory reporting to safeguard assets and ensure legal adherence. Direct treasury management activities such as cash flow optimization, expense control, cost management, and banking relationships. Oversee mergers & acquisitions activities—conduct due diligence, valuation analysis, negotiation support, and integration planning to facilitate strategic growth opportunities. Supervise the finance team's operations in financial report writing, interpretation of financial statements, and management of accounting systems for efficiency and accuracy. Drive strategic management initiatives by providing insights through financial modeling, industry market analysis, and business development support. Ensure compliance with industry regulations related to financial reporting standards like GAAP and IAS while maintaining high standards of fiscal discipline across the organization. Skills Extensive experience in finance directorship roles with proven leadership in senior management environments. Deep understanding of corporate finance principles including profit & loss management, cost control, expense management, and revenue management. Expertise in financial software systems such as ERP platforms; strong technical accounting skills including tax accounting and cost accounting. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations such as COSO frameworks for internal controls and ASC 606 for revenue recognition. Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop complex financial projection models and conduct detailed market analysis. Exceptional negotiation skills for mergers & acquisitions, fundraising efforts for business development, and strategic partnerships. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through change management processes while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Excellent communication skills for interpreting financial reports clearly to stakeholders at all levels; adept at financial report writing for diverse audiences. Strategic thinker with a solid grasp of industry trends affecting financial concepts like risk analysis, compliance standards (GAAP/IAS), and fiscal management practices.
