Experience in a Law firm is a Major plus. This executive role offers an exciting opportunity to drive fiscal management, oversee complex financial activities, and contribute to the organization's growth and sustainability. The CFO will serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, providing expert guidance on financial planning, risk management, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will possess extensive accounting and finance experience, demonstrate strong leadership skills, and have a proven track record in strategic financial management within diverse industry environments. You must have worked in a large setting organization but understand the boutique grind and mentality Duties Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability. Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including financial statement analysis, interpretation, and reporting in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IAS (International Accounting Standards). Lead risk analysis initiatives to identify potential financial threats and develop mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations such as SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) and ASC 606 standards. Manage treasury functions including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and investment activities to optimize liquidity and fiscal health. Drive revenue management efforts through market analysis, business development initiatives, and revenue cycle management to maximize income streams. Supervise the preparation of detailed financial reports for internal use and regulatory reporting purposes while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Lead Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) activities by evaluating potential opportunities, conducting due diligence, and integrating new entities seamlessly into the existing financial framework. Oversee budgeting processes, cost control measures, expense management, and financial projection model development for strategic planning. Manage finance team operations including supervision of accounting systems, payroll management, cost management, and compliance with financial standards such as COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations). Collaborate with executive leadership on corporate strategy development, fundraising efforts for business expansion, and long-term financial forecasting analysis. Qualifications Extensive experience in senior finance or finance directorship roles with a strong background in corporate finance, non-profit accounting (if applicable), and industry-specific financial regulations. Proven expertise in financial analysis, financial report writing, interpretation of complex financial statements, and technical accounting practices including tax accounting and cost accounting. Demonstrated leadership in managing finance teams with supervisory experience in budgeting, expense control, payroll management, and strategic planning. Deep understanding of accounting standards such as GAAP and IAS as well as familiarity with SOX compliance requirements. Skilled in using advanced financial software systems for reporting, analysis, forecasting models development, and risk management tools. Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent business analysis capabilities to support negotiations related to M&A or other strategic initiatives. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to develop comprehensive financial models for forecasting future performance. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; advanced certifications such as CPA or CFA are highly preferred.
