Overview We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial strategy and oversee our regional financial operations. As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will serve as a strategic partner to Ownership and Directors. You will direct the company's overall financial health, drive growth initiatives, mitigate risks, and scale our finance department to support long-term business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Strategy and Planning Create and execute long-term financial strategies that align with company growth goals. Build scalable business models to drive profitability and operational efficiency. Provide strategic financial counsel to the CEO and Board on market opportunities and challenges. 2. Financial Reporting and Analysis Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements . Analyze complex financial data to identify business trends, market risks, and performance gaps. Present clear, actionable financial reports to internal stakeholders, investors, and leadership. 3. Budgeting and Cost Control Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes across all departments. Monitor operational costs and implement company-wide cost-control measures. Track budget variances to protect profit margins and optimize resource allocation. 4. Risk Management and Compliance Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations (GAAP/IFRS). Identify, assess, and mitigate financial, legal, and operational risks. Manage corporate insurance policies and maintain robust internal control systems. 5. Cash Flow and Capital Management Monitor daily cash flow and optimize working capital (AR/AP) to ensure liquidity. Manage banking relationships and secure strategic lines of credit or debt financing . Optimize the company's capital structure to support operational stability. 6. Investment and Growth Decisions Evaluate capital investments, mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures. Conduct rigorous return-on-investment (ROI) and financial modeling for new business initiatives. Lead financial due diligence and integration for business expansion. 7. Leadership and Team Management Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and absolute financial accuracy. Collaborate with other executive team members to align operational execution with financial goals. 8. Technology and Systems Oversight Evaluate, implement, and upgrade ERP systems and financial software. Automate manual accounting workflows to scale operations and minimize human error. Ensure maximum security and compliance regarding sensitive financial data.
Qualifications & Skills Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required; MBA or CPA highly preferred.
Experience:
10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 3-5 years in a CFO or equivalent role.
Technical Skills:
Deep expertise in corporate finance, financial modeling, GAAP compliance, and advanced ERP platforms.
Leadership:
Proven track record of managing cross-functional finance teams and advising executive boards.
Communication:
Exceptional ability to translate complex financial data into clear, strategic narratives for non-financial stakeholders.
Pay:
$150,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
