$125,000 - $200,000 per year Job Details - We are currently seeking a dynamic and strategic Permanent CFO/Interim CFO with a strong background in the legal industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing the financial operations of a law firm, including finance, ADP, payroll, reconciliation, and account migration. This position requires a professional who can establish financial policies, maintain the fiscal health of our firm, and drive financial strategy. The CFO will play a critical role in the overall financial management of the firm and will be instrumental in driving financial and strategic decisions. Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of financial management including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. Manage all aspects of payroll, ensuring accurate and timely processing, reporting, and reconciliation. Lead the migration of accounts and financial systems, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to the business. Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO/Board and members of the executive management team. Manage and monitor all banking activities and ensure effective cash flow management. Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions. Provide leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives. Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, and introduction of new programs/strategies. Drive the firm's financial planning and budgeting processes. Ensure credibility of finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, MBA or related advanced degree is preferred. Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, or CPA) is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, in a law firm setting Proven experience with finance, ADP, payroll, reconciliation, and account migration and attorney trust accounts Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential. Strong problem-solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software. Ability to strategize and solve problems. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
