THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client is an established, growth-oriented consumer products organization operating in a product-based, multi-channel environment. The business is focused on profitable expansion, operational discipline, stronger financial visibility, and continued development of the infrastructure required to support its next stage of growth. The CFO will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, Board, investors, and operating leadership, translating financial performance into clear business decisions around growth, pricing, investment, working capital, profitability, and resource allocation. This role is best suited for a commercially minded finance executive with significant experience in consumer products, food and beverage, manufacturing, distribution, or another inventory-oriented environment who can combine long-term strategic leadership with hands-on financial execution.

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and maintain an effective internal control environment. Continuously improve financial reporting, accounting processes, systems, controls, and data visibility as the organization grows. Manage banking and lender relationships and serve as the primary senior finance contact for financing partners. Oversee credit facilities, debt arrangements, borrowing activity, covenant compliance, lender reporting, and related financial obligations. Evaluate financing alternatives, capital structure considerations, and investment opportunities in support of the company's strategic objectives. Develop initiatives to improve cash conversion, inventory efficiency, receivables, payables, and overall balance sheet performance. Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and other business leaders to improve financial performance and commercial decision-making. Provide financial insight around pricing, promotions, customer investments, commercial spending, product economics, and new business opportunities. Support demand planning, operating forecasts, inventory decisions, and other cross-functional planning processes. Strengthen financial accountability throughout the organization by providing operating leaders with clear performance data and decision-support tools. Build, develop, and lead a high-performing Finance organization with appropriate structure, capabilities, controls, and succession planning. Mentor and develop finance and accounting leaders while establishing a culture of accountability, collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement. Support mergers, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, financing transactions, and other corporate development initiatives as appropriate.
