Interim CFO:
Oversee financial operations and help close accounting backlogs. Lead federal grant compliance, reimbursement processes, and funding requirements. Guide audit preparation and support nonprofit audit activities. Develop and support FY2027 budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives. Partner with executive leadership and the Board on financial reporting and strategic decision-making. Mentor and support the finance team while helping prioritize workload and deliverables. Qualifications for the Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO): CFO or senior finance leadership experience within a nonprofit environment Strong expertise in federal grants, compliance, and funding regulations. Extensive knowledge of nonprofit audits and financial reporting requirements. Experience presenting financial results, forecasts, and recommendations to executive leadership and boards. Advanced Excel skills Experience with Sage Intacct and Bill.com, a plus
