We are looking for a Part Time Property Inspector in or around the Mebane, NC area who is willing to travel between Durham, NC and Burlington, NC as well. Please review the requirements below before applying.

Requirements:

Must have or be able to acquire an Android Phone device Must have a valid driver's license Must be able to work in the US Must have a reliable vehicle Must have car insurance in your name Fully functional Windows based computer Must be able to pass a criminal, MVR background check and drug screen Proficient in oral and written communication. High school diploma or GED required Duties and responsibilities: Must have good time management skills. Must be comfortable driving to multiple locations in one day. Accurate observation of liability exposures and hazards Accurate and objective observation of roof covering Accurate and complete submission of diagrams, photos, and report information Efficient organization of inspection and report preparation

Work Environment & Description:

Must be comfortable with working outside in the elements which can include extreme hot and cold temperatures for long periods of time several days in the week. Must be comfortable with potentially long commutes and driving in both rural and urban settings. Property Inspectors will complete routes assigned to them, visiting multiple stops in one day to observe and report on the structures condition through means of photography and written documentation.

Physical Demands:

Must be physically fit and able to walk, stand and sit for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Must have good sense of balance and capable of walking and working on uneven ground What is provided:

Pay Structure:

This is a pay per-piece position, meaning the more work completed, the more you make. The range typically made for inspectors in this location is $17-$22. There are travel opportunities once an inspector is established. Good fit for motivated individuals who enjoy flexible scheduling.

Pay:

$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
