We are seeking an experienced and motivated Auto Liability & Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster to join our growing Claims Department. This position is responsible for investigating and resolving auto liability claims and handling non-attorney represented bodily injury claims from initial report through final settlement. The ideal candidate will have strong investigative, negotiation, and customer service skills with the ability to manage a fast-paced caseload. Responsibilities Investigate automobile accidents to determine liability and coverage. Obtain and review recorded statements, police reports, photos, witness statements, and supporting documentation. Analyze comparative negligence and liability exposures. Review policy provisions and determine available coverages. Establish and maintain accurate claim reserves. Negotiate and resolve property damage exposures when applicable. Document claim activity thoroughly and maintain complete claim files. Manage non-represented bodily injury claims from inception to closure. Evaluate injury severity and claim value. Conduct settlement negotiations directly with claimants. Prepare claim evaluations and settlement recommendations. Issue settlements within authority limits. Ensure compliance with all state regulations and company guidelines. Experience/Qualifications Minimum 4 years of auto liability claims handling experience. Experience handling non-attorney represented bodily injury claims. Strong understanding of negligence and comparative fault principles. Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Ability to evaluate injury exposures. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining quality standards. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and claims management systems. Active Texas Adjuster License Schedule & Work Expectations Regular full-time schedule with availability during standard business hours. Ability to work additional hours as needed to meet business demands and claim handling requirements. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required during periods of high claim volume, catastrophe events, or other operational needs.
