In this vital role, you will oversee the acquisition, management, and compliance of permits and licenses necessary for automotive and commercial operations. Your expertise will ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, facilitating smooth project execution and operational continuity. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to regulatory compliance initiatives, support public health and safety standards, and streamline permit processes across diverse projects. Your energetic approach and meticulous attention to detail will drive success in maintaining compliance with construction, environmental, and zoning laws. Responsibilities Manage the application process for permits and licenses related to automotive and commercial projects, ensuring timely submission and approval. Interpret technical drawings, building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental laws to verify project compliance. Coordinate with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and local authorities to facilitate permit issuance and renewal processes. Prepare comprehensive reports on permit statuses, regulatory compliance findings, and environmental assessments for internal review. Monitor adherence to OSHA standards, construction regulations, FDA regulations (if applicable), and environmental compliance requirements throughout project lifecycles. Review construction plans and building code analysis documents to ensure conformity with local ordinances and building codes. Maintain detailed records of permits, licensing documentation, inspection reports, and regulatory correspondence using Microsoft Office tools. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting project teams with permit-related inquiries and navigating complex regulatory frameworks. Stay updated on changes in construction regulations, environmental law, public permitting procedures, and local ordinances affecting automotive and commercial projects. Experience Proven experience in construction regulatory compliance or permit coordination within the automotive or commercial sectors. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards, construction experience, and environmental law is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, building codes, zoning regulations, and local ordinances accurately. Experience working with government agencies or regulatory bodies involved in public health or environmental compliance. Strong report writing skills with the ability to prepare detailed documentation for regulatory reporting purposes. Administrative experience managing permits or licensing documentation efficiently using Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal teams, government officials, contractors, and other stakeholders involved in permit processes.
