FTZ/CBW Compliance Manager Proactive Supply Chain Group - 5.0 Seabrook, TX Job Details Full-time From $120,000 a year 10 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Customs regulations compliance Teamwork Team development Bachelor's degree Attention to detail Leading team collaboration initiatives Business Administration Business Team motivation (leadership skill) International trade regulations Team building Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) and Customs Bonded Warehouse (CBW) Compliance Manager to lead and oversee the organization's trade compliance, customs compliance, and Foreign Trade Zone operations. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with United States and international import/export regulations, customs requirements, export controls, sanctions programs, and Foreign Trade Zone regulations. Duties Lead daily trade compliance activities supporting domestic and international import and export operations. Provide leadership and direction to the team through ongoing development, guidance, and coaching. Demonstrate proficiency in the required systems; experience with Quad is considered an asset. Manage Foreign Trade Zone and Customs Bonded Warehouse activities and ensure regulatory compliance. Oversee tariff classifications, country of origin determinations, customs valuation, and import entry requirements. Manage export compliance classifications, licensing requirements, sanctions screening, and export documentation. Oversee Inventory Control and Recordkeeping Systems (ICRS). Lead compliance audits, risk assessments, and corrective action initiatives. Maintain compliance data within required systems. Prepare and submit required reports to CBP and other regulatory agencies. Develop employee training programs on FTZ, CBW, and customs compliance requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives while reducing compliance risk. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade, or related field. Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in global trade compliance leadership. Strong knowledge of United States Customs and Border Protection regulations and export control requirements. Experience managing customs brokers and third-party service providers. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Licensed Customs Broker certification. Certified Customs Specialist or Certified Export Specialist certification. Experience with duty drawback, tariff mitigation, Foreign Trade Zones, and Customs Bonded Warehouses. Experience supporting multinational manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environments.
