KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Operations Process credit card/bank transfers; reconcile receivables against payables Manage accounts payable — pay bills and handle vendor A/P communications Route vendor receipts to bill.com; help streamline the vendor-email workflow Send invoices for private events and track collection Tax & Compliance File monthly: state excise, state sales, and city sales tax File quarterly: federal excise tax Apply for and renew business licenses, permits, and the city/county commissary application Payroll & HR Administration Run payroll weekly (mixed salaried/hourly staff) Onboard and offboard employees in Gusto Vendor & Team Management Keep Toast POS updated as needed Manage the relationship with the outside accountant/accounting team Communications Own the hey@ inbox — respond to and resolve vendor/customer/general email

IDEAL CANDIDATE

2+ years of bookkeeping or A/P-A/R experience; comfortable with QuickBooks or similar Payroll processing experience (Gusto a plus) POS experience (Toast a plus); comfortable learning new software Track record navigating local/state licensing, permitting, or tax paperwork Highly organized, low-error, comfortable owning deadlines without close supervision

Pay:

$25.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 30.0 per week
