This position is open exclusively to current Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) employees. The Facility Compliance Specialist is responsible for assisting with, overseeing, and ensuring compliance with all facility audits. This role is critical to maintaining adherence to departmental policies, federal regulations, and national American Correctional Association (ACA) accreditation standards. The incumbent will serve as the primary point of contact for matters related to compliance, accreditation, policies, and policy management, and will report directly to the Appointing Authority. Support for this position will be provided by staff from the Audits and Compliance Division, the Facility Division Compliance Manager, the Facility Division Policy Manager, and other personnel as deemed necessary.
