Job Description
Position Summary Serves as the compliance point of contact for HIPAA Business Associate obligations, third-party information requests, and emergency notification reporting. Key Responsibilities Receive and route all third-party requests for information concerning an examination performed under the contract to the District's Disability Claim Examiner for processing. Serve as PFS's designated point of contact for HIPAA Business Associate Agreement compliance. Receive emergency treatment or safety-related notifications from examiners and ensure the required written report reaches the District within 24 hours. Maintain and audit safeguards for claimant information in electronic and hard-copy formats. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in healthcare compliance, health information management, or related field. Certification in healthcare privacy compliance (e.g., CHPC) preferred. Experience administering HIPAA Business Associate compliance programs
