JOB SUMMARY
The Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring healthcare professionals meet all compliance requirements before beginning assignments. Working closely with employees, staffing managers, clinics, vendors, and healthcare facilities, this role tracks required documentation, resolves compliance issues, and maintains accurate records to support timely placements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Compliance Management Monitor employee compliance requirements, including background studies, drug screens, TB testing, licenses, certifications, and facility-specific requirements. Review and verify compliance documentation for completeness and accuracy. Maintain compliance records and ensure documentation remains current. Track deadlines and proactively address expiring credentials and requirements. Assist with audits and accreditation or regulatory reviews. Employee Support & Communication Coordinate testing authorizations and provide instructions to employees. Follow up with employees, clinics, and vendors to obtain outstanding documentation and results. Communicate compliance deficiencies and required corrective actions. Provide exceptional customer service while guiding employees through the compliance process. Collaboration & Operations Work closely with employees, staffing managers, and facility contacts to ensure employees are cleared before starting dates. Support onboarding, placement, and compliance initiatives across the organization. Contribute to process improvements that increase efficiency and compliance accuracy. Handle sensitive employee information with professionalism and confidentiality.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Previous healthcare staffing, credentialing, compliance, or administrative experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and credentialing or applicant tracking systems. Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

$19.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
