• Temporary, Part-time, Contract Job Summary Shimhalal Fiscal Governance, LLC is seeking a local, part-time CMMC Cybersecurity Compliance Officer (1099 Contractor) to secure and audit our corporate infrastructure for an upcoming Missile Defense Agency (MDA) SBIR Phase I project (

). The project initializes on August 5. This individual will oversee the data security posture of our remote engineering team and establish our mandatory defense compliance baseline. This is a local, hands-on role requiring 5 to 10 hours per week at our Manassas Park office.

Core Duties CMMC Framework Execution :

Perform a comprehensive, line-by-line CMMC Tier 1 (Foundational) self-assessment of corporate hardware, local networks, and remote developer connections.

Government Portal Registry :

Formally document and log our

NIST SP 800-171

self-assessment scoring into the DoD's Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) prior to contract finalization.

Subcontractor End-Point Auditing :

Conduct technical audits of our two remote software engineers' endpoints to guarantee compliant handling of Federal Contract Information (FCI).

Policy Enforcement :

Deploy and maintain strict data-safeguarding protocols (such as local encryption, secure data transmission lines, and USB hardware blocking) in line with FAR 52.204-21 and

DFARS 252.204-7012.

Experience Requirements Active US Citizenship :

Absolute requirement due to export-controlled data and Missile Defense Agency project parameters.

Proven SPRS Record :

Must have executed at least one successful NIST SP 800-171 or CMMC assessment upload into the government's SPRS database.

DoD Compliance Background :

Minimum of 3-5 years of direct experience navigating DFARS cybersecurity clauses and technical system-safeguarding metrics.

Local Availability :

Must reside within commuting distance of Manassas Park, VA, to conduct in-person physical hardware audits.
