Overview:
Processes and supports Letter of Credit transactions in adherence to ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) guidelines to minimize risk to the Bank.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Process amendments of Commercial and/or Performance/Financial Standby Letters of Credit for customers in a timely and accurate manner.

+ Provide cross-training assistance for less experienced staff; provide management feedback on progress of cross-training efforts. + Participate as a member of letter of credit project teams as required. + Identify fraudulently presented items through use of International Trade Finance (ITF) policies, procedures and controls. + Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management. + Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand. + Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable. + Complete other related duties as assigned.
