MORTGAGE LOAN SERVICING SPECIALIST
for a small/mid-sized credit union located in Lone Tree, CO.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for loan servicing of the first mortgage and consumer loan portfolios from beginning to paid-in-full. Assist in answering member inquiries regarding payments, taxes or insurance. Organize all loan servicing related functions to ensure correct and proper records are maintained. Perform post-closing duties such as file audits, track trailing documentation, audit final documents and maintain filing systems, recording and lien protection oversight, collateral documentation verification, post-closing exception resolution, and work audit exceptions. Process and track all tax and insurance payments on first mortgages, maintain escrow accounts for proper escrowed amounts and timely payments to counties/insurance companies. Perform annual escrow analysis, mail to members, assist with questions. Make payment adjustments as necessary. Prepare payoff statements, process paid loans including releasing the recorded lien. Record new loan liens/deeds of trust. Process subordination, loan modification, and skip-a-pay requests. Assist with E-Oscar inquiries. Run exception reports as needed or required. Coordinate the preparation and mailing of 1098 tax statements. Assist with HMDA reporting (quarterly audits and annual submission). Stays apprised of BSA and AML regulations, reporting any required information to the BSA team.
Requirements:
2 years of loan servicing including mortgage and consumer loans Mortgage, bank, or credit union loan servicing experience required Expertise in loan escrow accounts Handling liens Auditing and post-closing experience Understanding of HMDA, BSA, and AML Regs High School Diploma
