Delinquency Control Counselor -
Hybrid Pay:
$17.00/hour

Location:
Pensacola, FL (Hybrid - 3 days in office after training)
Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week About the Opportunity Our client is a Fortune 500 credit union and the largest natural-member credit union in the United States, serving millions of members worldwide. They're growing their Pensacola contact center team and hiring Delinquency Control Counselors for a November 9 class. If you're a strong communicator who enjoys problem-solving and helping people get back on track financially, this is a great opportunity to build your career with a respected, member-focused organization. What You'll Do as a Delinquency Control Counselor Contact members with past-due consumer loan and credit card accounts (31-60 days delinquent) and work with them to bring accounts current Gather and review members' financial information to recommend the best solution for their situation Offer options such as repayment plans, promises-to-pay, loan modifications, refinances, deferrals, and settlements Document payment arrangements and account details accurately in collection systems Make sure required member notifications (emails, letters, regulatory notices) go out on time Follow federal and state consumer protection laws, including FDCPA, FCRA, UDAAP, and SCRA Research account records and public resources to reach members Provide reporting and updates to your supervisor as needed What You'll Bring 1+ years of collections, customer service, or call center experience Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Ability to stay calm, empathetic, and professional in difficult conversations Comfort navigating multiple systems and screens at once Good judgment and the ability to work independently once trained High school diploma or equivalent (required) A quiet, dedicated workspace for hybrid work (required) Why You'll Love It Paid training Consistent full-time schedule (40 hours per week) Experience with a Fortune 500 company to build your resume #rapidhire
