At Justice Federal Credit Union, you ll make a real impact while growing your career in a supportive, Member‑driven environment. As a Collector , you ll be the steady, solutions‑driven voice helping Members navigate financial challenges. You ll monitor delinquent accounts, offer thoughtful guidance, and help Members regain financial stability-all while protecting the credit union s loan portfolio.
Schedule:
40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, start time is between 9:00-10:00 a.m. and end time is between 5:30-6:30 p.m. Exact schedule to be discussed and agreed upon during the interview. New hires may qualify for a $500 hiring bonus.
Key Job Functions:
Delinquent account outreach
Monitor past‑due loans and connect with Members consistently and compassionately. Financial counseling
Provide personalized solutions that strengthen Members financial well‑being. Payment processing
Post delinquent loan payments accurately and in line with policy.
Required Skills and Experience:
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant experience may substitute. Experience
One to three years of similar or related experience; preferably in a credit union, financial institution, or call center. Communication
Clear, confident communication with a Member‑first mindset. Multitasking
Ability to juggle priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Policy & legal document skills
Comfortable interpreting garnishments, judgments, and bankruptcy filings. Physical Requirements
Must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs.
