NVOCC Full Job Description Ocean Export Coordinator Location:

Redondo Beach, CA Pay:

Up to $23.50/hour

Schedule:

Full-Time, On-Site Job Overview We are seeking an Ocean Export Coordinator with 2-3 years of freight-forwarding experience to support international Ocean Export operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with FCL/LCL shipments, carrier bookings, export documentation, vessel schedules, shipment cutoffs, and customer communication . Responsibilities Coordinate international FCL and LCL Ocean Export shipments . Arrange bookings with steamship lines, NVOCCs, and carriers. Monitor vessel schedules, sailing dates, and CY/CFS cutoffs . Coordinate drayage, container pickup, warehouse activity, and terminal delivery. Prepare and review Bills of Lading, Shipping Instructions, AES/EEI, commercial invoices, packing lists, and export documents . Track shipments and provide customers with timely status updates. Communicate with carriers, truckers, terminals, warehouses, customers, and overseas agents. Maintain accurate shipment information in the freight-forwarding system. Assist with resolving booking, documentation, cutoff, and carrier issues. Maintain organized and accurate shipment files. Qualifications 2-3 years of Ocean Export, freight forwarding, or international logistics experience. Hands-on experience with FCL and LCL Ocean Export shipments . Knowledge of carrier bookings, vessel schedules, Bills of Lading, and export documentation. Familiarity with CY/CFS cutoffs, drayage, containers, and terminal operations . Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines. CargoWise or similar freight-forwarding system experience preferred. Benefits 401(k)
