This leadership role is responsible for overseeing a team of five accounting professionals and managing the financial and accounting needs of 115 clients. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong accounting expertise, excellent organizational skills and a commitment to providing outstanding client service. Key Responsibilities . Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 5 accounting employees. . Oversee the financial and accounting activities for onboarding new clients and approximately 115 clients. . Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. . Review and analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance. . Maintain strong client relationships and serve as a trusted financial resource. . Coordinate workflow, establish priorities, and ensure departmental objectives are met. . Develop and improve accounting processes and internal controls. . Support management with financial analysis and strategic recommendations. . Collaborate with other department directors and senior management on a daily basis.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications . Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field. . Proven experience in accounting, preferably within property management, real estate, or a related industry. . Demonstrated leadership and staff management experience. .
Strong working knowledge of:
o Microsoft Office Suite o Microsoft Excel o QuickBooks . Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. . Strong verbal and written communication skills. . Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. . Knowledge or Community Associations, Caliber software and/or Town Square software, a plus. Compensation Compensation will be competitive and determined based on the candidate's education, training, certifications, and relevant experience.
