This leadership role is responsible for overseeing a team of five accounting professionals and managing the financial and accounting needs of 115 clients. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong accounting expertise, excellent organizational skills and a commitment to providing outstanding client service. Key Responsibilities . Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 5 accounting employees. . Oversee the financial and accounting activities for onboarding new clients and approximately 115 clients. . Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. . Review and analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance. . Maintain strong client relationships and serve as a trusted financial resource. . Coordinate workflow, establish priorities, and ensure departmental objectives are met. . Develop and improve accounting processes and internal controls. . Support management with financial analysis and strategic recommendations. . Collaborate with other department directors and senior management on a daily basis.
