AB_5104044 We are partnering with a premier gaming and hospitality operator in Las Vegas to recruit a strategic, hands-on Director of Casino Accounting. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance / Controller, this executive accounting leader will oversee full-cycle casino revenue accounting, gaming audit operations, cage and drop reconciliations, and regulatory reporting. The ideal candidate brings extensive casino-resort accounting leadership, a deep command of Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS), and a proven ability to mentor high-performing audit and accounting teams.

$135,000 - $150,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: No Degree Required Responsibilities Direct daily operations of the casino accounting and gaming audit departments, overseeing staff responsible for slots, table games, cage operations, and online/sportsbook reconciliations. Lead month-end close procedures for all gaming revenue streams, review and approve complex journal entries, perform general ledger reconciliations, and ensure accurate financial statement presentation in accordance with US GAAP. Maintain strict adherence to Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) regulations, MICS, and Title 31 / FinCEN Anti-Money Laundering (AML) reporting (including SAR-C and CTR-C compliance). Direct the preparation and submission of state and local gaming tax returns, gross gaming revenue (GGR) calculations, NGC-31 forms, and live entertainment tax filings. Act as the primary liaison for internal audits, external CPA financial audits, and state regulatory examinations, ensuring complete documentation, workpaper integrity, and rapid audit resolution.
