Job Description
Overview The Financial Aid Work Study position supports the Financial Aid Office in daily operations to provide financial guidance to fellow students. This role will direct students to counselors, help with office organization, and provide basic campus information. Key Responsibilities Greet students when they arrive at the Financial Aid Office. Answer basic questions about the campus and direct students to the services they need. Answer phone calls and transfer them to the appropriate people/departments. Assist in keeping office supplies organized and the office space tidy. Support in preparing communications to students, proof-reading documents, and organizing files. Support staff in other assigned tasks as needed. Required Qualifications Currently enrolled as a full-time student at McMurry University. Strong customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Reliability and consistency. Familiarity with basic office supplies, tools, and software.
Work Schedule Hours:
Up to 10 hours per week during business hours (8am-5pm, Monday-Friday)
