Job Description

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paraplanner to support our financial advisory team. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing and analyzing financial plans, supporting client meetings, and developing proficiency with our advisor-facing technology platforms. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial planning and client engagement within a collaborative environment. Duties Develop proficiency across MWM's advisor-facing technology systems, including Redtail, Zocks, Nitrogen, Stonewood, eMoney, Holistiplan, Black Diamond, Schwab, and other required platforms. Independently prepare planning materials such as Inventory Maps, Nitrogen analysis reports, Stonewood reports, eMoney financial plans, and other Envision/Analyze planning tools. Attend Envision meetings with experienced Lead Advisors to observe discovery sessions, client communication strategies, and overall client engagement processes. Support the creation of comprehensive financial plans by gathering relevant data, analyzing client information, and ensuring accuracy in documentation. Assist in the development of client presentations and reports to facilitate effective communication of financial strategies. Collaborate with advisors to ensure seamless delivery of financial planning services and maintain organized client records. Requirements Strong interest in financial planning and wealth management. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technology platforms and tools. Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. Prior experience or familiarity with financial planning software is a plus but not required; willingness to develop technical proficiency is essential. Demonstrated ability to work independently while supporting team objectives. Commitment to professional growth within the financial advisory industry. This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking a comprehensive learning experience in financial planning while contributing to a dynamic team environment. The Paraplanner development pathway builds proficiency across MWM's technology, planning process, client service model, onboarding, and advisor responsibilities, ultimately preparing team members for advancement into either a Lead Advisor or Strategy Advisor role.
