Job Description

We are looking for an entry-level Financial Analyst to support subcontractor qualification activities for a busy construction organization in Concord, California. This Long-term Contract position focuses on evaluating application packages, reviewing financial information, and helping ensure trade partners meet approval standards before joining active and upcoming projects. The role is well suited for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable managing a large workload, and able to communicate clearly with both subcontractors and internal project teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the intake and review of initial and annual subcontractor qualification submissions for both prospective and existing trade partners.
  • Examine financial statements and supporting documents to identify missing items, incomplete records, or information requiring clarification before approval can move forward.
  • Communicate directly with subcontractors to request outstanding documentation and maintain consistent follow-up until submission requirements are satisfied.
  • Partner with project teams to confirm subcontractors are reviewed and cleared in time to support scheduled project needs.
  • Manage a high-volume pipeline of subcontractor applications while adjusting priorities to meet changing deadlines and business demands.
  • Maintain organized files, checklists, and reporting tools that support visibility into qualification progress and outstanding issues.
