Finance Coordinator Redeeming Life Outreach Ministries, Inc. Position Summary The Finance Coordinator supports the financial operations of Redeeming Life Outreach Ministries by maintaining accurate accounting records, assisting with payroll administration, preparing financial reports, and ensuring sound financial stewardship. This position also provides administrative support for ministry operations and special projects as assigned by the Executive Director. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proficient in accounting and office technology, and committed to supporting the mission of Redeeming Life Outreach Ministries.

Reporting Relationship:

Reports to the Executive Director and collaborates with members of the leadership team to support the financial and administrative operations of the ministry.

Employment Status:

Part-Time, non-exempt (21-28 hours per week) Essential Responsibilities Financial Management Maintain accurate bookkeeping records using QuickBooks. Process accounts payable, deposits, and bank reconciliations. Record and monitor receivables, including donor pledges, grants, and other funds due to the ministry, as applicable. Assist with monthly financial reporting and budget preparation. Maintain grant and restricted fund records. Prepare financial documentation for the CPA, annual audit, and IRS Form 990. Payroll Administration Assist with payroll administration through Paycor. Coordinate employee payroll setup and changes. Verify payroll and PTO information prior to payroll processing. Maintain payroll-related records and documentation. Administrative Support Provide financial and administrative support for ministry operations and special projects. Assist with donor database maintenance, gift processing, and development-related projects as assigned. Prepare reports, correspondence, and other administrative documents as requested. Additional Responsibilities Perform other related duties that support the financial and administrative functions of the ministry as assigned by the Executive Director. Qualifications Demonstrates a personal Christian faith consistent with the mission, values, and Statement of Faith of Redeeming Life Outreach Ministries. Three or more years of bookkeeping or accounting experience. Strong proficiency with QuickBooks. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, and Google Meet. Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive financial, donor, and personnel information. Experience with online payment processing systems and donor management platforms such as PayPal, Qgiv, DonorSnap, or similar software. Experience with Paycor or similar payroll software.

Compensation & Benefits Compensation:

$20.25-$22.00 per hour , commensurate with qualifications and experience.
