Berea, KY Non-Exempt Job Summary:
The Community Lending Loan & Portfolio Coordinator oversees and supports loan administration activities from application through payoff, including documentation, funding, servicing, compliance monitoring, and reporting. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent customer service and portfolio quality. Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers, providing timely assistance with loan applications, closings, funding, reporting requirements, payments, and post-closing loan servicing activities. Support loan origination activities by collecting, organizing, tracking, and maintaining borrower, project, financial, collateral, and application documentation in Fundingo and other systems. Coordinate Loan Committee activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing loan packages, distributing materials, documenting meeting minutes, and maintaining committee records. Manage loan closing and post-closing processes by reviewing closing packages, coordinating documentation, ensuring funding conditions are met, and maintaining complete loan files. Maintain accurate loan records and system data, including loan setup, modifications, borrower information, collateral records, covenant tracking, and portfolio administration. Process loan disbursements and construction funding requests, reviewing supporting documentation and coordinating timely and accurate funding activities. Monitor loan payments, payoffs, lien releases, and collateral requirements, researching discrepancies and ensuring compliance with approval and documentation requirements. Track portfolio compliance and borrower reporting obligations, including financial statements, insurance, taxes, covenants, collateral reviews, and identification of potential risk factors. Prepare and maintain portfolio reports, impact data, and regulatory or investor reporting, supporting management, funders, auditors, and organizational reporting requirements. Support portfolio management, collections, and special projects by monitoring maturities, assisting with loan modifications, performing collection activities, improving processes, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve departmental objectives.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of loan processes, terminology, documentation, and basic loan servicing concepts At least 12 months of lending or lending related experience Associates or Bachelors preferred Customer service experience is a must
Education:
Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experience:
At least 1 year of lending or lending related experience
