Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst to support the finance team of a growing manufacturing organization. This position will focus heavily on Excel-based reporting, financial analysis, and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, a background in accounting or finance, and experience working with financial data. Key Responsibilities Assist with month-end close activities, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Prepare and maintain financial reports, spreadsheets, and dashboards using advanced Excel functions. Analyze revenue, expenses, costs, and financial performance to identify trends and discrepancies. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Create and update Excel-based financial models and reports. Gather, organize, and analyze financial data from various systems. Assist with ad hoc reporting and financial analysis requests. Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure accuracy of financial information. Support process improvements related to reporting and data management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred. 1+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required , including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, and financial reporting. Experience creating Excel dashboards and financial models. Previous experience supporting month-end close activities. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to organize, interpret, and present financial data accurately. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience with ERP or financial reporting systems is a plus. Manufacturing industry experience is a plus, but not required.
