Description:
The Commercial Portfolio Credit Analyst's primary function is to provide qualitative and quantitative analysis of applicant requests, annual risk rating assessments, modifications to existing loans, and line of credit renewals. These responsibilities include evaluating complex credit presentations for MLC and the Board. In this role, the portfolio analyst is expected to be detail-oriented and to work in partnership with Commercial Loan Officers to assist borrowers with new loan requests, loan modifications, construction draw requests, and account status memos while helping ensure the Bank delivers exceptional service. Education/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, or a related field Equivalent banking, lending, accounting, or credit experience may be considered. Analytical ability, attention to detail, accuracy, and willingness to learn commercial credit concepts and Bank credit policy. Written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize financial information clearly and professionally. Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments, deadlines, and follow-up items. Proficiency with Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook and the Bank's Loan Operating System, Abrigo, Premier and Director. Professional judgment, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality, compliance, teamwork, and exceptional service. $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
