Senior Financial Analyst Air Distribution Technologies, Inc. - 2.9 Grandview, MO Job Details 8 hours ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree Full Job Description The Senior Financial Analyst is a hands-on, business-facing finance professional responsible for supporting financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and cost analysis activities across a multi-site manufacturing organization. This position serves as a key financial partner to Commercial, Product Management, Engineering, and Plant Operations teams, providing actionable insights into product profitability, cost performance, and overall business results.
What You'll Do:
Own monthly P&L, allocation, and product profitability reporting across multiple manufacturing locations. Support monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes. Analyze actual results against forecast and budget and provide variance explanations. Evaluate product costs including materials, labor, and overhead absorption. Partner with Commercial, Product Management, Engineering, and Operations teams. Support SG&A planning, forecasting, and headcount budgeting. Review journal entries, accruals, and reserves supporting financial close activities. Prepare management reporting packages, KPI dashboards, and executive presentations. Respond to ad hoc analysis requests from leadership. Identify and implement process improvements. Provide guidance to Financial Analyst team members. Perform additional duties as assigned.
What We Look For:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. 3-5+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, cost accounting, or plant accounting experience. Manufacturing finance experience preferred. Strong understanding of standard costing, overhead absorption, and margin analysis. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Advanced Excel skills. OneStream or similar EPM system experience preferred. Strong analytical, communication, and business partnership skills. Ability to operate effectively in an evolving environment.
