Job Description

JUNIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST
Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firm seeks full-time junior financial analyst to join our dedicated and accomplished team of investment management professionals. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in gaining exposure to all aspects of the investment management business: portfolio management; product marketing; client distribution and administrative support.
Job Type/Schedule:
Full-time position requiring approximately 40 hours of work per week (Monday through Friday).
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In support of the investment management team, the junior financial analyst will perform the following functions: Assist in the preparation of client proposals and marketing materials; Assist Portfolio Manager in pricing and implementation of new client investment strategies; Research client prospects for new business opportunities; Assist in development of research materials for broad-based marketing campaigns; Assist Portfolio Manager in monitoring client risk positions; Prepare monthly performance updates for Carapace Financial clients; Analyze and oversee client billing for client separately managed accounts; Assist in maintenance and preparation of Carapace Private Fund monthly reports; and Serve as point person in matters relating to custodians, compliance and
IT. JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of basic investment and finance principles Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other software required to prepare client presentations Effective oral and written communication skills Effective organizational and time-management skills
EDUCATION
College degree required Finance major preferred
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
