Description Bridget Killen from Robert Half is partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit organization in Albany and is seeking a Financial Analyst to support budgeting, grant compliance, financial reporting, and program analysis. This position plays a critical role in helping ensure federally funded programs remain financially compliant while providing meaningful insights to program leaders. This is an excellent opportunity for a data-driven professional who enjoys working with large datasets, building reports, improving processes, and partnering with stakeholders to support informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities

+ Monitor budgets and financial performance across multiple programs

+ Analyze and reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance

+ Support grant reporting and compliance for federally funded programs

+ Extract and analyze data from ERP system and other financial systems

+ Create and maintain Excel-based reports, dashboards, and financial models

+ Partner with program managers on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

+ Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and improve processes

+ Audit financial and program data to support organizational goals Ideal Candidate You are highly proficient in Excel, comfortable navigating financial systems, and enjoy turning data into meaningful insights. You can pivot between projects, work through complex reporting requirements, and proactively identify opportunities to improve financial processes while supporting the mission of the organization. Requirements + 2-4 years of financial analyst, budget analyst, grant analyst, or related experience

+ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, reporting, and dashboards

+ Strong systems aptitude and comfort working with financial software and ERP systems

+ Experience with budget monitoring, forecasting, and financial reporting

+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

+ Government or nonprofit accounting/finance experience

+ Grant accounting, grant reporting, or grant compliance experience
