Your Job Koch Engineered Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounting Analyst to join our Projects & Services Business Controller team in Katy, TX. In this role, you'll partner directly with operations and business leaders to provide financial insights, support strategic decision-making, and drive continuous improvement across the business. • Support monthly and quarterly financial close activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and well-supported account balances.
• Deliver meaningful financial analysis and reporting that enables business leaders to make informed decisions.
• Partner with operations and business leaders to understand performance drivers, anticipate business needs, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Strengthen the internal control environment by promoting sound financial stewardship and compliance.
• Support internal and external audit activities, including site-level reviews and compliance assessments. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
• Experience in an accounting or finance-focused role requiring knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and analysis.
• Experience in Excel (spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, graphs, data manipulation/analysis, and formula creation).
• Strong communication skills with experience presenting and tailoring messages to a variety of audiences. What Will Put You Ahead
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting.
• ERP experience.
• Construction industry experience.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau).
• Experience leveraging generative AI to streamline workflows and improve outcomes.
