Available Help for . Financial Risk Analyst for Community National Bank in Odessa, TX. Responsible for staying up to date on and complying with all applicable banking laws and regulations as well as CNB policies and procedures. Inform financial decisions by analyzing financial information to forecast business, industry, or economic conditions, in order to control or reduce risk. Determine the expected profitability of loans and identify areas of potential risk by applying mathematical models of financial or business conditions to accurately analyze financial data such as income growth, quality of management, and market share. Conduct statistical analyses to evaluate customers' financial status and to prepare plans of action for lending possibilities, using statistical analysis software or econometric models. Maintain input or data quality of risk management systems and research new financial products or analytics to determine their usefulness. Monitor fundamental economic, industrial, and corporate developments or trends to provide oral or written reports of the analyzed information from financial publications and services, investment banking firms, government agencies, trade publications, company sources, or personal interview. Accurately document and communicate key risks to Officers and team members. Evaluate the quality of multiple securities and compare the liquidity and profitability. Using internal and external resources, gather risk-related data in order to accurately maintain data quality of risk management systems and complete loan applications. Interpret data on price, yield, stability, future investment-risk trends, economic influences, and other factors affecting lending opportunities.
