Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Automotive F & I Manager to join our thriving dealership team. Duties Manage the entire automotive financing process, including loan application review, credit analysis, and transaction structuring to secure optimal deals for both clients and the dealership Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing transparent information on financing options, upselling additional products such as warranties and insurance packages, and ensuring a positive experience Collaborate closely with sales teams to facilitate smooth deal closures while adhering to automotive sales industry regulations and compliance standards like TILA (Truth in Lending Act) Oversee loan processing activities, including title processing, contract preparation, and ensuring all documentation complies with financial regulations and dealership policies Utilize financial software systems such as CDK or similar platforms to manage client data, loan applications, and transaction records efficiently Conduct credit analysis by evaluating client financial information using basic math skills and 10-key typing proficiency to determine appropriate financing solutions Negotiate terms with lenders and clients to optimize deal structures while maintaining compliance with all applicable financial regulatory standards Ensure all transactions meet federal and state automotive financing regulations, including proper documentation under TILA and other relevant laws Provide ongoing client communication throughout the financing process, addressing questions promptly and professionally to foster trust and satisfaction Experience Proven experience in automotive finance management within a dealership environment Strong background in customer relationship management (CRM) with the ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels Extensive knowledge of automotive sales industry regulations, financial services, credit analysis, loan processing, and compliance standards such as TILA Familiarity with dealership management systems like CDK or comparable financial software platforms Demonstrated ability in negotiation, deal structuring, and contract management within a fast-paced sales environment Excellent math skills complemented by proficiency in 10-key typing for accurate data entry and calculations Prior experience working with automotive finance regulations including Title processing and transaction structuring guidelines Strong communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and adherence to financial regulatory compliance standards Join us as an Automotive Finance Manager where your expertise will drive success—empowering customers with confidence while advancing your career in a vibrant automotive environment! Now that the AI is done with their description, here is the actual breakdown: You will be responsible for making sure everything is funded within a respectable time frame for our Banking Partners and Flooring Companies. Keep an updated spreadsheet for CIT's for Management to go over daily. Sell Gap, Service Contracts, Maintenance, etc.(You may bring in other products if approved by management(i.e. lojack, paint protection)) Must have experience in secondary financing and have good relationships with banks and their representatives. Must be able to multitask and help in the showroom when there are no customers in your office. Must abide by all financial laws and be compliant with all Banks' rules and regulations.
Starting pay plan:
$2000 salary. 10% of backend products sold + reserve, minus chargebacks. Our current backend gross is average is about $55k and that is without a Finance Manager. We need a good, reliable Finance Guy/Girl that is comfortable with Secondary and that can get that gross UP! If our Sales People that have no Finance experience can do $45
•60k, theres no reason why a Finance Manager with experience wouldnt be able to do at least $80
•100k. At $55k in backend gross, you're already making $7k.
