What You'll Do Financial Management & Reporting Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes Analyze financial results and provide meaningful recommendations to leadership Maintain compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies Prepare management reports and financial analyses to support business decisions Budgeting & Financial Planning Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes Monitor financial performance against budget and identify trends Support strategic planning initiatives through financial reporting and analysis Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) Leadership & Process Improvement Mentor and support accounting staff Review and improve accounting procedures and internal controls Identify opportunities to streamline operations and increase efficiency Partner with department leaders to support organizational goals Assist with system implementations and process enhancements Compliance & Audit Support Coordinate external audits and tax preparation activities Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Maintain strong internal controls and risk management practices Support banking, insurance, and financial reporting requirements Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required CPA designation is a plus 5+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred Previous leadership or supervisory experience highly desirable Experience in Agriculture, Manufacturing, Construction, Distribution, or related industries is a plus Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with ERP and accounting software systems Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities What We're Looking For Strong financial reporting and accounting expertise Leadership and team development skills Process improvement mindset Ability to partner with operations and executive leadership Strategic thinker with strong business acumen High level of integrity and accountability Excellent organizational and project management skills Why Join The Team?
